Local filmmakers and actors getting a taste of the international scene Sunday night.
The South Texas Underground Films Festival showcased various international independent films at the art center of Corpus Christi.
This is the first time that Corpus Christi has ever had an international film festival.
Also they held a conference that will gave filmmakers access to workshops and different film techniques.
Organizers say this festival is unique as in it helps local talent and artists come together.
Ruben Barrera, a sponsor of STUFF says, "that a festival like this is one of the most important things to help unify all the local filmmakers and also expose them to other cultures and let us share our culture with them."
