A 15 year old student from Miller High School is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Monday morning. The accident happened around 7:45AM Monday morning along the 2700 block of Ruth Street, that's behind Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital.
Police had to close down Ruth from 23rd Street to 25th Street for a couple of hours. Witnesses say it did not appear that the driver was speeding and they say the sun may have blocked the drivers vision.
At the time of the accident the boy was not responsive. Medics preformed CPR at the scene, he was revived on the way to the hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
The boy's parents have been notified. Stay with 3News for more on this developing story.
