CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Pepe Serna, a Corpus Christi native who is best known for his role in Scarface with Al Pacino, hosted a workshop for young aspiring actors Sunday.
Serna visited the new Ben McDonald Library as part of an improv program to help middle school students overcome stage fright.
"For fifty years now, I have been doing these workshops, and it's the most gratifying thing that I can do, to work with these kids," Serna said.
"Basically, because I used to have stage fright, I don't mess myself up but I can still have fun with it," said Tomas Ornelas, a student at Martin Middle School.
Serna has appeared in more than 100 feature films and over 300 television shows.
