Soccer team to call Southeast Texas home

Southeast Texas is about to get a new professional sports team.

Our news partner the Beaumont Enterprise is reporting the commissioner of the professional arena soccer league will be at Ford Park this week to announce that a new team will be based at the Arena when it begins play in December.

The local team will be one of nine new teams joining the PASL.

The league will enter its fifth season with 19 teams.
