Female football player takes the field in Nederland

From ribbons and bows to helmets and pads, a 12-year-old Central Middle School Student is taking her love of football to the field.

Number 22, 12-year-old Jadi Weaver is the wide receiver for the Canine football team. She played her first game Tuesday as the only female on the squad.

Her family and friends were in the stands supporting her with "Team Weaver" shirts on.
