Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who has four felony arrest warrants covering a wide range of drug charges.

Deputies on Monday evening attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Damon Patrick Coleman, 32, of Beaumont. Officers say they had strong evidence that Coleman was inside a house in the 3300 block of Redwood in Beaumont.

Police say after repeated attempts to get someone to open the door, officers forced their way inside and found that no one was home. Although no people were home, deputies say they saw large amounts of marijuana, pills and synthetic drugs scattered inside the house.

Deputies obtained a search warrant and began to looking through the house. They said they found approximately 244 pounds of marijuana, 914 packages of synthetic marijuana, 103 tablets of hydrocodone and 100 tablets of Xanex. Deputies say the drugs were in plain view in the house.

Along with the drugs deputies say they found scales, a money counting machine and $5,782 in cash.

Deputies say in addition to the drugs, they found a stolen Honda 4X4 that was taken in Hardin County, 14 rifles and shotguns and one pistol. At least two of the weapons were previously reported as stolen.

A sheriff's office spokesperson says Coleman is the same man who they were looking for two months ago when they raided a house in the 4000 block of Agnes in Beaumont. In this raid, officers recovered drugs and cash.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies say Coleman may be in the compnay of Tafari Recarda Luke (left) and/or Elexter Maxson (right.)

A statement issued Wednesday by the sheriff's office says no attempt should be made to apprehend these individuals as they should be considered "armed and dangerous."

Deputies ask anyone with information about the whereabouts of Damon Patrick Coleman to call Beaumont Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS.
