Shots were heard overnight in one Corpus Christi neighborhood, leaving residents shaken.
The shots were heard just after 1 a.m. in the 1400 block of 16th Street. Fortunately, no one was injured in the exchange.
Witnesses told police that they heard five shots in all, and saw multiple vehicles leaving the scene. Police believe those vehicles were shooting at each other.
"They have the description of three different vehicles," said Lt. Lauren White of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "An SUV type vehicle, a truck possibly, a BMW and a white car with neon lights underneath it."
