High Speed Pursuit Ends with Car Crash

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A 60-year old woman is in jail after leading police on a high speed pursuit.

The police chase began around five Saturday morning and ended on the Waldron exit near SPID. Police responded to a disturbance call and when they arrived, the woman decided to get in her car and take off.

The woman driver is said to have reached speeds over 100 mph. A spike strip was used to stop the car. She was arrested and is facing several charges.
