Football fans can rejoice this coming Sunday.
The NFL and the referees have made it official by ratifying a contract that will end the replacement ref debacle.
The new contract offers a pay bump from 149,000 a year in 2011 to 173,000 a year in 2013.
However critics say the replacement refs that were brought in to officiate may have damaged the game in the long run this season. This all falls from the infamous Monday Night Football game where the Seattle Sea hawks defeated the Green Bay Packers by 14 to 12
