Occurred on 10/01/12, 12:53 a.m. Driving While Intoxicated 3600 Mendenhall
Police pulled over a black Chevrolet Corvette who failed to stop for a red light and almost struck another vehicle head on. The driver Gilbert Ray Paree, 46, was contacted and appeared to be intoxicated. He was administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests along with a Mandatory Blood Draw when it was discovered he had three prior convictions for DWI.
Paree was arrested and booked at the City Detention Center. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More, a 3rd degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
