Hurried Driver Causes Three-Car Collision on FM 624

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A driver in a hurry caused a three-car collision Wednesday morning in Calallen.

The accident happened just before 9 a.m. on FM 624. Police said the driver of a sport utility vehicle was stopped at a light, and when the light turned green, the driver punched the accelerator too fast and collided into the two cars in front of it.

The driver was cited for following too closely. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
