City Hosts Zumba Explosion Fitness Challenge

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Corpus Christi continues to be ranked as one of the fattest cities in the country, but an event coming up in two weeks hopes to trim some of that fat.

The Parks Department is holding a Zumba Explosion workout. It is going to take place Oct. 13 at the Corpus Christi Gym at Cabaniss Field.

The workout is completely free and there will be plenty of Zumba instructors on hand to show you how to work off those extra pounds. City Parks officials believe it could be a big step in getting off that fat list.

If you would like to register for the four hours worth of free Zumba classes, you can do that online at www.ccparkandrec.com.
