Scott Malone Heading for TCU Hall of Fame

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - Texas A&M-CC baseball coach Scott Malone will be formally inducted into the TCU Athletic Hall of Fame this weekend.

Malone led the old Southwest Conference in hitting in 1993-94 as a Horned Frog upper classman, and was a three-time ALL-SWC player at three different positions. After graduation, Scott was drafted by the Texas Rangers.

He will go into the TCU Hall of Fame along with former NFL star LaDainian Tomlinson and five other athletes prior to the Horned Frogs- Iowa State game on Saturday.

    According to the US Coast Guard, a 51-year-old man is dead and two others are safe, a 14-year-old girl and 52-year-old man, after their boat sank Sunday morning in Copano Bay, just north of Rockport, Texas.
