Pink Pumpkin Patch for the Cure to Fight Breast Cancer Sold Out

Posted: Updated:

Corpus Christi (Kiii News) - The Channel 3-Radiology Associates event that began at 9am this morning was a success.  By 11am today some 1,000 pink pumpkins were sold with the gourds ranging in price from $10 to $20 depending on the size. Not a single pumpkin was left as Coastal Bend residents rallied in big numbers to join the fight against breast cancer.

But for those who want to join the fight against breast cancer there still are more chances to participate by buying and displaying a pink pumpkin. Next weekend another 1,000 pink pumpkins will be at La Palmera Mall Center Court beginning at 10am.  Then, there will be yet another 1,000 pumpkins set up a Brewster Street Ice House on Saturday, October 20.

Kiii-TV, Channel 3, and Radiology Associates thank South Texans who came out in unexpected numbers today to show their desire to conquer breast cancer once and for all.
