The 76th Annual NAACP Convention is coming to Corpus Christi October 11-13. The main topic of the three-day gathering is the importance of voting.

President of the local chapter, Terry Mills, talked about scheduled sessions discussing diversity and community. They are open to the public.

Friday, free dental screenings will also be provided for children under 12 years old at Bethune Day Nursery at 900 Kinney Street.
