Police have arrested a 16-year old male suspect in a burglary on the Island, around the Gypsy and Port O Call area. A female suspect is still on the loose.
Officers arrived on the scene of a burglary in progress in that area around 9 a.m. After a short scuffle with police, the male suspect fled the scene on foot. The female suspect left in a Jeep.
Police caught up with the male suspect at a vacant condo a couple of blocks away from the scene, where they were able to detain him. They are still searching for the female suspect, described as white, short and heavyset.
