CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Some health science students at Moody High School are one step closer to looking the part as they embark on a medical career.
Seniors in the health science program there were presented with official lab coats on Tuesday, a gift from Christus Spohn; but the seniors weren't the only one's receiving gifts.
Freshmen in the program got backpacks, sophomores got thumb drives and juniors were outfitted with scrubs and stethoscopes.
A spokesperson from Christus Spohn said they hope the investment will provide added encouragement for the future doctors and nurses.
Students will actually get to use these tools in real-life hospital rotations later this year.
