Rainbow bridge reopened following report of a person jumping from the span

The Rainbow Bridge was shut down around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after the Port Arthur Police Department received a call about a man who appeared to be trying to jump.
Port Arthur Police Lt. Kirk Nesbitt tells 12News HD, shortly after dispatchers received the call, another caller reported that the man had jumped.
The bridge re-opened just before 4 p.m.
