An 18-year-old Beaumont man is indicted on a murder charge.
Jacoby Shavon Holman, of Beaumont, was indicted Thursday for the August 27th shooting death of Trazayre Sanders.
According to 12News HD file stories, around 10 p.m. the day of the shooting, 911 dispatchers began getting calls from people who heard gunshots in the 1800 block of Glasshouse Street. When officers arrived at the house, they found Sanders with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth where doctors pronounced him dead.
About 20 minutes later, Holman showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his hip. He told police he did not know who shot him.
On September 27, police said they had enough evidence to charge Holman with Sanders' death. They arrested him at a house on Hazel Avenue in Beaumont.
