Corpus Christi (Kiii Sports) - Friday Night Sports Blitz- Part II-

First-year Tuloso-Midway coach Brian Boone and his Warrior football team were out to end a 29-year losing streak to Calallen last night. His game plan included a kick-off return that featured a slight-of-hand that even Harry Houdini would be proud to call his own. In the end, though, Calallen regrouped to beat T-M for the 30th consecutive time.

It was Homecoming Night in Refugio, as the Bobcats welcomed back the 1982 State Championship team. This year's squad made put on quite a display for their alumns as QB Travis Quintanilla threw an incredible TEN touchdown passes  in route an 80-0 win over Taft.

Flour Bluff continued its roll through District 31-4A on Friday night with a 56-14 win over visiting Miller. This was a game chock-full of strange twists and bizarre plays.
