Nederland police are investigating a Friday-night shooting.
Officer Dixon with the Nederland Police Department tells 12News that a dispatcher got a call around 11:30 p.m. about a disturbance with possible gun shots in the 2500 block of Avenue H.
Nederland Police and officers with several other agencies went to the scene and found one person with a gunshot wound. Officers said the injury did not appear to be life threatening. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Investigators spoke with numerous people who were on the scene and took statements.
No arrests have been made.
