Accident blocks I-10 service road

A tanker truck overturned early Saturday on Interstate 10 after colliding with a smaller truck.

The accident happened just after 2 a.m. on I-10 near Major Drive.

A dispatcher with the Beaumont Fire Department tells 12News a haz-mat crew was called to clean up oil that spilled. As of 6:45 a.m. the westbound service road remains closed between Brooks and Major. Traffic on the interstate is not blocked.
