One person is dead after an ATV accident on FM 3247 in Little Cypress near West Bluff Road. The victim has been identified as Darrel Joseph Bertrand, 28, of Orange.
Police say Bertrand left the road and went into a steep ditch.
Bertrand was treated by Orange and Little Cypress fire departments and Acadian EMS. He was taken to Baptist Hospital-Orange where he died from his injuries.
Orange County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace David Peck has ordered an autopsy.
