Tx-DOT Seeking Public Input on Harbor Bridge

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The Texas Department of Transportation wants to hear your thoughts and ideas on the Harbor Bridge.

Starting Monday, project teams from Tx-DOT will be conducting small neighborhood meetings to listen to folks in different parts of the city. A study completed by Tx-DOT in 2003 concluded that U.S. 181 and the Harbor Bridge must be improved to maintain a safe and efficient transportation corridor.

They hope the meetings will bring residents up to speed, and give them a chance to have a say in the final outcome.

The first meeting will take place from 6-8 p.m. Monday, at St. Paul United Methodist Church Sanctuary on 1202 Sam Rankin Street.
