CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A Corpus Christi police officer and his K-9 partner are credited with making a drug bust late Sunday night.
It was around midnight when 47-year old Mario Bazan was arrested. Officers pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation and found a capped syringe in Bazan's shirt pocket, along with some pills.
At that point, they called in a drug dog to search the vehicle, and wound up finding several small baggies containing heroin and cocaine.
