A "Week Without Violence" offers special seminars with specific themes all this week. Nancy Wesson-Dodd with the YWCA talked about some of this week's special events centered around the national campaign.
Tuesday, October 16, is the 2nd Annual Financial Exploitation Awareness Expo at Greenwood Senior Center at 4040 Greenwood Drive from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m., "Miss Representation" will be showing at Harbor Playhouse. The documentary film aims to show how mainstream media misrepresents or under-represents women in the workforce.
