BEE COUNTY (Kiii News) -
The brother-in-law of 54-year old Brien Hickman, who was recently found dead at his Bee County ranch, was found dead on Tuesday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Hickman was the victim of an execution-style gunshot wound to the head. His brother in-law, Mike Stuart, was also found dead there, with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Bee County Sheriff Carlos Carrizalez said that, when investigators arrived at the Hickman property on Tuesday, they heard a gunshot. Shortly afterward, they found Stuart's body.
There has been no official word as to whether or not Stuart was in any way involved with the Hickman murder. However, the sheriff said that he and his deputies went to Stuart's home to question him about the homicide.
