BEE COUNTY (Kiii News) -
It was in the predawn hours of Sept. 26 when the Bee County Sheriff's Department says Brien Hickman was murdered at the entrance of his family ranch on Wofford Lane.
Investigators said Hickman had been ambushed and shot one time in the head with a shotgun.
Then came word on Tuesday that Hickman's brother-in-law, Mike Stuart, who also lived on the Hickman ranch, had committed suicide while investigators were at the residence.
As of Wednesday, even more information has been released by the Sheriff's Department about the investigation.
