Art Center of Corpus Christi Celebrates 40th Birthday - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

The Art Center of Corpus Christi celebrated its 40th birthday on Wednesday night.

Along with the singing, guests enjoyed a champagne toast and birthday cake. Art Center Director Dianna Bluntzer said there is no other place like it in Texas, and the fact that it's right here in the Coastal Bend gives us plenty to celebrate.

"What really makes it so special is we focus on the artist creativity and innovation, and the process of creating," Bluntzer said.

The event also included a tasting preview of the Art Center's new restaurant, Citrus Bayfront Bistro.
