KINGSVILLE (Kiii News) -
It is hard to believe, but Christmas is just over two months away, and to help get in the spirit, the Toys for Tots campaign kicked off Thursday in Kingsville.
At the Stop-N-Lube Quick Oil Change in Kingsville, organizers held a kick-off party to let the public know that now is the time to think about donation. A mayoral proclamation was read and checks were donated, all in an effort to keep the program going strong.
The Stop-N-Lube on East King in Kingsville will be collecting toys and donations until Dec. 15. Toys for Tots is looking for new, unwrapped toys, in their original packaging, with a value of $5 or more. They will also take monetary donations.
