ALICE (Kiii News) -
Alice police and U.S. Marshals arrested one man on charges of making a terrorist threat, specifically threatening to shoot up the Child Protective Services office in that city.
Natividad Briones, 37, of San Diego, TX, allegedly made the threat to a CPS worker after they removed his children from their home. The charge of making a terrorist threat is a third-degree felony.
"This type of behavior is not going to be tolerated by this department, and the state's not going to be a victim," Alice Police Chief Danny Bueno said on the phone. "When you make any threat, to any employee of the state, we will take action immediately."
Briones is currently being held at the Jim Wells County Jail.
