Fire Crews Respond to Major Brush Fire in Rockport

ROCKPORT (Kiii News) -

Firefighters from Lamar, Fulton, Ingleside and Rockport responded to a brush fire in Rockport that caused dozens of homes in Rockport to be evacuated.

The blaze started around 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park. Strong winds quickly spread the flames at least a mile westward.
