68 Year Old Man Hit While Crossing the Street

A 68-year old man was rushed to the hospital after he was struck by a gray pickup truck about 11:30 Saturday night. It happened at Chaparral and Power Street.

Capt. Jerry Vesely said, "A elderly male crossed the street not at the cross walk in the path of the pick up truck and was struck by the pick up truck."

The 68-year old man was taken to Christus Spohn Memorial with serious injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
