3 News is on the scene of a murder investigation in Ingleside. Police tell 3 News an unidentified woman was found lying face down on a sidewalk leading away from an apartment on the 2100 block of Breezeway Circle. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say a man who was inside the apartment where the woman lived was detained for questioning. He was found covered in blood. Police believe the two were involved in a domestic violence situation which led to the woman's death. The woman's name has not been released until her family has been notified. Police say a formal charge of murder will be filed later today against the suspect.
