Synopsis for Thursday, 10/25/2012:
Squeezed by the blockade, vilified in the U.S. press,disavowed by his country, Marcus Chaplin knows that the situation on SainteMarina is rapidly becoming untenable. Seeking a diplomatic resolution, Marcusagrees to meet an envoy, the man who gave the false order to fire on Pakistan,Secretary of Defense William Curry. During the negotiation, Grace takescommand of the COLORADO and leads a mission to fix a gap they've detected inthe sonar array line – leaving them vulnerable to attack. When Curry and histeam discover the gap, they pull back on the deal they've offered to Marcus andgive the order for the Illinois to fire on the COLORADO. Grace's father,also on Sainte Marina, sees this happening and takes matters into his ownhands, resulting in several lost lives in Curry's team.

Five hundred feet beneath the ocean's surface, the crewof the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine "USS Colorado" - themost powerful nuclear submarine ever built -- receive their orders. Over acommunications channel designed only to be used if the U.S. homeland has beenwiped out, they're told to fire nuclear weapons at a foreign country. CaptainMarcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher) demands confirmation of the orders, only to beunceremoniously relieved of duty. XO Sam Kendal (Scott Speedman) finds himselfsuddenly in charge of the submarine and facing the same difficult decision.When he also demands confirmation of the orders, the Colorado is fired upon andhit. The submarine and its crew, honorable patriots, now find themselvescrippled on the ocean floor and declared rogue enemies of their own country.
