18 Wheeler Strikes Power Lines

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

An 18 wheeler ran into power lines just before 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, causing nearby businesses to lose power.

The big rig was attempting to turn around at Pinson and Glasson when it snagged the lines. The collision was near the Corpus Christi International Airport, CCIA was unaffected however nearby rental car services and the weather center lost power for a short time.
