The Calallen Wildcats wrapped up a playoff spot last night as they beat Victoria West. The Wildcats' 38-24 win was their third straight in District 30-4A.

The Gregory-Portland Wildcats spotted Tuloso-Midway an early touchdown, then proceeded to score the next 28 points in route to a 39-17 victory. G-P still needs one more win to join Calallen in the Class 4A playoffs.

The King Mustangs continued their drive towards the playoffs with a 31-7 win over South San. The win cemented at slot in the Class 5A playoffs for coach Eddie Hesseltine and his team.

    A man is died after being hit by two vehicles while walking along the 200 block of NPID near the Agnes Street Exit.Police got the call around 8:50 Friday evening by drivers that say the man was walking along the highway and was staggering. Minutes later the two cars ran him over and the drivers stopped to help but he was dead. No tickets were handed out over this accident.More >>
