Armed Individual Sighted at Texas A&M University College Station - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A Code Maroon was issued at 4:36 p.m. at Texas A&M University in College Station, stating that an armed subject has been seen near the University Center Garage.

Students, faculty and staff have been notified to stay indoors in a safe place until further notice.

The suspect is being described as a white male in his late 40s, with light hair, a lime green short sleeve shirt and jeans.

As of 5:12 p.m., it was reported on the university Web site that police are still searching for the suspect.
