Traffic Stop Yields More Than $120,000 Worth of Cocaine

JIM WELLS COUNTY (Kiii News) -

More than $120,000 worth of cocaine was confiscated during a traffic stop in Jim Wells County Thursday afternoon, along Highway 281 as it splits off into Alice.

Investigators said 33-year old Yencey Degrate stashed nearly three and a half pounds of the illegal drug under the center console. He is in the Jim Wells County Jail waiting for bail to be set.

Degrate faces a charge of possession of a control substance.
