Millions of Americans hit the polls Tuesday night, and as you may already know, President Barack Obama was reelected for his second term in office.

Here in the Coastal Bend, Nelda Martinez was elected mayor, and Jim Kaelin was reelected as our Nueces County Sheriff. Also on the ballot were eight propositions concerning city improvements.

The following is a rundown of Tuesday night's winners, as well as the final voting numbers reported:
