BLITZ "Band of the Year": Calallen Wildcats

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - Congratulations to the Calallen Wildcats for winning the inaugural BLITZ "Band of the Year" competition!

The 'Cats band edged out nine other schools in the online vote at www.kiiitv.com. Calallen had been going up against the other "Band of the Week" winners. The 'Cats won their Week 8 match-up against King to get into the end of the year competition.

Calallen will be presented the "Band of the Year" trophy at Friday afternoon's pep rally.
