The National Weather Service provides weather, water, and climate data to the public. The NWS also forecasts and warns for the protection of life and property with the mission of creating a weather ready nation.

This morning on First Edition, Meteorologist, Alan Holt, visited with the National Weather Service Office in Corpus Christi. This particular segment focuses on the weather balloon.
