Motorcyclist Injured in Early Morning Hit and Run

FROM THE CORPUS CHRISTI POLICE DEPARTMENT -

Occurred on 11/12/12, 02:28am  Major Accident  3300 S. Staples Street

Officers responded to Staples and Texan Trail for a hit and run accident involving a motorcycle.  Upon their arrival, Officers found the 30-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured.  He was rushed to Spohn Memorial with non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation revealed,  a red Jeep Wrangler turned left in front of the motorcyclist causing him to strike the passenger side of the Jeep. The motorcyclist went down and the Jeep fled on Texas Trail.
