TAMUCC Students Observe Veterans Day

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Though Veterans Day was actually on Sunday, there were still many remembrances happening on Monday, including one at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

The University held its annual observance in front of the statue on late veteran and civil rights leader Hector P. Garcia. During the ceremony, a wreath was laid in front of the statue.

There are currently around 1,000 military veterans enrolled at the school.
