Aransas County Traffic Stop Puts Narcotics Suspect Behind Bars

ARANSAS COUNTY (Kiii News) -

A traffic stop in Aransas County has reportedly put a major dent in the meth business in that area.

Officers pulled over 57-year old David Davis Saturday evening. It turns out the Aransas County Narcotics Unit had been investigating Davis for almost a year.

A search of his vehicle turned up hundreds of Ziploc baggies filled with meth, as well as digital scales, syringes and even a police scanner.

Davis is currently being held at the Aransas County Detention Center in lieu of bonds totaling $150,000.
