It was a scary Thursday morning for parents in the Flour Bluff Independent School District.
A mass text message was sent out after a kindergarten teacher reportedly found a gun in one of her student's book bags.
The Corpus Christi Police Department investigated the situation immediately, and it was later determined that the handgun was just a high-quality replica, but there was still a great deal of concern.
