Change of Command at the U.S.S. Lexington

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

It was a change of the guard on Thursday, as the title of Chief of Naval Air Training at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi was bestowed on a new rear admiral.

Rear Admiral Mark Leavitt is taking over command for Rear Admiral William G. Sizemore II. Sizemore has decided to retire after 32 years of service in the U.S. Navy.

Leavitt is a New England native whose been in the Navy since 1986.
