Corpus Christi (Kiii Sports) Friday Night Sports Blitz Part IV- Our Final Blitz "Play of the Week" was turned in by the Orange Grove Bulldogs. Quarterback Ruben Lopez will hit receiver Mathew Priddy, who avoids contact and then juggles the ball down the field, finally making the diving catch in the red zone. Ruben and Mathew will join our eleven other weekly winners as contenders for the coveted Golden Pigskin, which is awarded for the Blitz Play of the Year.

    A local family received news they were dreading Tuesday, and unfortunately were prepared for it -- two of their relatives were identified as victims of the mudslide that devastated a small town in Washington state on March 22.The bodies of Theresa and Steve Harris were recovered Tuesday. Theresa's brother, Mark Christoph, owns an insurance business here in town. Both victims were from the Coastal Bend.More >>
