Update: Fire Officials Suspect Arson in Vacant House Fire

Posted: Updated:

An update on a story we first told you about here on First Edition.  Fire investigators say some sort of flammable liquid was used to ignite a fire that sent a vacant home up in flames.  The blaze broke out around 11:30 Friday at a vacant home on the 1100 block of Jacquelyn near Robert Drive.  When fire crews arrived, heavy smoke and flames were visible.  Home owners say the house has been vacant for about three months.  The fire was under control in ten minutes.   The inside of the home is a total loss.  An investigation is still ongoing.
