Internet Crime Task Force Arrests Man for Online Solicitation

A Corpus Christi man is facing some heavy charges after the Corpus Christi Police Department says he tried to solicit sex online from two girls, both under the age of 14.
The Internet Crime Against Children Task Force said Daniel Ricardo Barrientos had been communicating via Internet in order to have sex with two girls whom he believed to be a 12-year old and 14-year old girl.
When Barrientos arrived to their decided meeting place for sex, police officers were waiting with handcuffs.
Barrientos was booked into the City Detention Center and received a $15,000 bond. He has since been released.
